Background Thank you for visiting our new Internet site. We have now been running for a few days and are getting plenty of hits. Keep it up and we will soon be found on www.google.co.uk Milton Keynes Light Railway was set up through Milton Keynes Model Engineering Society to replace the Deanshanger Light Railway which closed in 2005 after many happy years of service to the local community. We are a group of model engineers, dedicated to the running of model steam, electric and diesel trains in Milton Keynes. The biggest problem we had was 'Where do we get enough space to develop a light railway in Milton Keynes'. Luck was on our side in the form of Milton Keynes Park Trust. They helped us to locate an area situated just behind the Caldecotte Arms, with it's famous windmill landmark. We run every Sunday from 12 noon until 4pm. If you like model trains and want a fun day out for kids of all ages, come and see us next to the Caldecotte Lake. At present, our web site is still under construction. We are making an effort to present you with our entire spectrum of offers as soon as possible. In the meantime you can reach us at 01908 503889. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
